Research Tax Consultants, Ltd (RTC) was established in 1987. Beginning in the service of recovering overpaid severance tax, RTC quickly made a name for itself by its commitment to quality, thoroughness, and dedication to service. The company began by servicing Texas oil and gas operators. In 1993, RTC expanded to Oklahoma and since then has successfully recovered in excess of $300 million in overpaid tax.
In this time, RTC developed a unique operation that produced database tools that mined for overpaid tax payments, proactively identified reporting opportunities, and transformed agency data with ease.
